Etymology: dalessandroi = Dennis D'Alessandro, U.S. orchid enthusiast, lived in Vilcabamba, Ecuador for a long time starting 1977, collected over 1000 species, of which at least 80 were unknown, now lives in Pennsylvania, U.S.A..

Notes:

Lepanthes dalessandroi is one of the largest flowering Lepanthes, the flower size can reach up to 2cm. The plant often flowers with 2-3, even more flowers at the same time. The normal forms are mostly yellowish-ochre, the colour variant offered here is pink.
