Description

Syngonium podophyllum 'Strawberry Ice'

Name: Syngonium podophyllum ‘Strawberry Ice’

Etymology: podophyllum means “foot-shaped leaf” in essence. ‘Strawberry Ice’ refers to the pink, creamy white, and green variegation.

Origin: The species is native to tropical America; ‘Strawberry Ice’ is a cultivated variegated form.

Location/Growing conditions: We grow the plant at around 20–29 °C, with moderate to high humidity and bright, indirect light. We keep the loose aroid substrate evenly lightly moist.

Description and notes: Each leaf shows an individual mix of green, creamy white, and pink. Bright, diffused light supports the attractive coloring. As it ages, the leaf shape changes significantly.
