Description

Phragmipedium Perufloras Cirila Alca

Name: Phragmipedium Perufloras Cirila Alca

Parents: Phragmipedium kovachii × Phragmipedium dalessandroi

Registration: RHS registered grex; registered in 2007 by Peruflora.

Location/growing conditions: We grow the hybrid intermediately at approximately 16–24 °C, in bright to partial shade, with high humidity and good air circulation. We keep the airy, moisture-retaining substrate consistently slightly moist and avoid allowing it to dry out completely.

Description and notes: The cross combines the large, intensely colored flowers of Phragmipedium kovachii with the prolific flowering of Phragmipedium dalessandroi. The flowers can display vibrant pink to red tones; variations in shape, size, and color intensity are to be expected among seedlings.
