Name: Philodendron ‘Birkin Pink’

Etymology: The cultivar name refers to the pink-colored, fine striped pattern of the leaves.

Location/Growing Conditions: We recommend warm conditions of approximately 19–28 °C, bright indirect light, medium to high humidity, and good air circulation. A coarse, structurally stable aroid substrate should dry out slightly on the surface between waterings.

Description and Notes: ‘Birkin Pink’ grows compactly and is self-supporting. Young leaves may initially appear predominantly green; the pink to cream-colored veining often becomes clearer only as they mature. The intensity and stability of the pattern can vary from leaf to leaf, and occasionally green or more strongly colored sectors may occur. Bright filtered light enhances the pattern, while direct midday sun can burn the light areas.
