Name: Masdevallia Morenita

Parents: Masdevallia ayabacana × Masdevallia theleura

Location/Cultivation Conditions: Grow in shade to partial shade with high humidity and constant, gentle air movement. A fine, airy, and moisture-retaining medium should remain evenly lightly moist without being wet. This hybrid tolerates intermediate conditions of approximately 14–24 °C; on warm days, cool nights and good ventilation are particularly important.

Description and Notes: The Grex combines two Masdevallia species with stiff leaves and striking, elongated sepals. The flowers can look very different depending on the light and show warm red, orange, or brown tones. Consistent root moisture and protection from heat promote a compact, floriferous growth.
