Description

Lepanthes tentaculata x Lths. calodictyon

Name: Lepanthes tentaculata × Lepanthes calodictyon

Parents: Lepanthes tentaculata × Lepanthes calodictyon

Location/Growing conditions: We grow this Lepanthes hybrid intermediately at around 16–23 °C, with very high humidity, bright filtered light and continuous gentle air movement. We keep the fine roots constantly slightly moist in Sphagnum or a very fine, airy substrate.

Description and notes: The hybrid combines the exceptional floral character of Lepanthes tentaculata with the attractive net-like veining of the foliage of Lepanthes calodictyon. Seedlings can vary in their leaf markings as well as in the color and shape of the tiny flowers. It is perfectly suited for a temperate display case.
