Description

Cattleya trianae 'Pequitas 0625'

Name: Cattleya trianae ‘Pequitas 0625’

Origin/Distribution: Cattleya trianae is native to Colombia.

Location/Growing Conditions: We grow this selected clone in intermediate to warm conditions at around 17–27 °C, in very bright conditions with good air circulation. During growth, we water regularly; the coarse orchid potting medium should then dry out well.

Description and Notes: ‘Pequitas 0625’ is a selected form of Cattleya trianae. The species is known for its large, elegant, and often pleasantly scented flowers. Plenty of bright, filtered light and well-developed, mature pseudobulbs support reliable flowering.
