Description

Cattleya Maximum Lust

Name: Cattleya Maximum Lust

Parents: Cattleya maxima × Cattleya lueddemanniana

Registration: Grex registered with the RHS; registered in 2022 by A. Black.

Location/Growing Conditions: We grow Cattleya Maximum Lust in intermediate to warm conditions at around 18–28 °C, in very bright light with good air circulation. During growth, we water regularly and then allow the coarse orchid mix to dry out thoroughly.

Description and Notes: This primary hybrid combines two vividly colored Cattleya species. Flower shape, shades of pink to purple, and lip markings can vary depending on the seedling. The plants grow vigorously with sufficient light and may develop a light fragrance.
