etymology:
weberbaueri = August Weberbauer (* 26 November 1871 in Breslau; † 16 January 1948 in Lima, Peru) was a German biologist and pioneer in the study of the flora of Peru and the Andes.
Reproduction: Division
Origin: Peru, Bolivia
Location: The most common locations are recorded in the eastern Andes, the altitude is estimated at about 500-1500m. In cultivation the species grows very well terrestrially, information on epiphytic growth is not available.
Remarks: Beautiful velvety leaves with 5-7 strong parallel leaf veins.
