Description

Anthurium trilobum (syn.: insigne) cf.

Name: Anthurium trilobum cf.

Etymology: The genus name Anthurium is derived from the Greek anthos and oura. trilobum means "three-lobed." The addition of cf. indicates that the classification is not fully verified.

Origin: From southern Central America to northwestern South America.

Location/Cultivation requirements: We cultivate this form in warm conditions at approximately 19–28 °C, with high humidity and good air circulation in a coarse, airy aroid substrate.

Description and notes: Mature plants can develop distinct three-lobed leaves. Leaf color, texture, and lobing change significantly with age and origin; therefore, we continue to list the material offered with a taxonomic disclaimer.
