Name: Anthurium moronense
Description & Notes: A botanical Anthurium species with decorative tropical foliage, particularly interesting for collectors of rare aroids. We cultivate it under consistent, warm, moist conditions with good air circulation and a very airy root zone.
Light: Bright to partial shade with filtered, indirect light. Avoid intense direct midday sun.
Temperature: Temperate to warm, approximately 18–26 °C. Consistent conditions without extreme temperature fluctuations are ideal.
Water & Humidity: Keep consistently lightly moist without allowing the substrate to remain wet. The top layer may dry out slightly between waterings. Elevated humidity of around 65–85% is ideal and should always be combined with good air circulation.
Substrate: Loose, airy, and slightly moisture-retaining aroid substrate made of bark, coco chips, or coco coir, some sphagnum moss, and mineral components such as perlite or pumice. Avoid waterlogging at all costs.
