Description

Anthurium Ingrid de Portilla

Name: Anthurium Ingrid de Portilla

Parents: Anthurium besseae cf. × Anthurium nigrolaminum ‘Ecuagenera’

Breeder: Ecuagenera

Location/Growing Conditions: We grow this hybrid in bright to partial shade without intense direct midday sun at approximately 18–28 °C. High humidity and good air circulation are beneficial. We keep the coarse, airy aroid substrate evenly slightly moist without leaving the roots constantly wet.

Description and Notes: This Anthurium hybrid combines decorative, robust foliage with an attractive surface texture and striking venation. Anthurium nigrolaminum can contribute a smooth, glossy leaf surface and high-contrast venation. As a seedling hybrid, Anthurium Ingrid de Portilla shows natural variation in leaf size, shape, color, and patterning.
