Name: Anthurium balaoanum cf.

Etymology: The genus name Anthurium is derived from the Greek anthos and oura. The specific epithet refers to Balao in Ecuador. The addition of cf. indicates that the identification is not fully confirmed.

Origin: Tropical South America.

Location/Cultivation requirements: We cultivate this form in warm conditions at approximately 20–28 °C, with high humidity, good air circulation, and bright to semi-shaded light. The substrate should be coarse and permeable to air, and kept consistently slightly moist.

Description and notes: The plant develops large leaves, whose proportions and texture can change significantly with age. Due to these variable characteristics, we continue to offer this material with the addition of cf.
