Name: Anthurium Green Savannah
Parents: Anthurium warocqueanum × Anthurium sp. nov. #33
Breeding: Hybrid by Ecuagenera.
Etymology: The genus name Anthurium is derived from the Greek anthos ("flower") and oura ("tail"). Green Savannah is the horticultural name of this cross.
Location/Cultivation conditions: We cultivate this hybrid in bright to semi-shaded conditions at approximately 18–27 °C, with high humidity and very good air circulation. We keep a coarse, airy aroid substrate consistently slightly moist, without letting the roots stand in water permanently. A climbing support promotes the development of larger leaves.
Description and notes: Anthurium Green Savannah displays the elongated leaf impression of Anthurium warocqueanum, combined with a lighter green coloration and a more textured leaf surface. In seedlings, leaf shape, surface texture, and venation can vary.
