Name: Anthurium Green Crocodile
Parents: Anthurium moroense × Anthurium luxurians
Description & Notes: An interesting Anthurium hybrid that combines the characteristics of two striking foliage plants. As a hybrid grown from seed, each plant may vary slightly in leaf shape, structure, and color. Particularly interesting is the potential combination of bold, textured foliage and the distinctive growth habit of the parent species.
Light: Bright to partial shade with plenty of indirect, filtered light. Avoid intense direct midday sun.
Temperature: Warm to temperate, ideally around 20–27 °C. Avoid large temperature fluctuations and prolonged exposure to temperatures below approximately 16 °C.
Water & Humidity: Keep consistently lightly moist without allowing the substrate to remain wet. The top layer may dry out slightly between waterings. Humidity of around 65–85% is ideal; ensure good air circulation at the same time.
Substrate: Loose, highly airy, and slightly moisture-retaining aroid mix made of bark, coconut chips, or coconut coir, some sphagnum moss, and mineral components such as perlite or pumice. Avoid waterlogging.
