Name: Anthurium Ecuagenera Princess
Parents: Anthurium warocqueanum × Anthurium besseae cf.
Cultivation: Hybrid by Ecuagenera.
Etymology: The genus name Anthurium is derived from the Greek words anthos ("flower") and oura ("tail"). Ecuagenera Princess is the horticultural name given to this hybrid.
Location/Cultivation Conditions: We grow the hybrid in bright to partial shade at approximately 18–27°C, with high humidity and good air circulation. A coarse, airy, and slightly moisture-retaining aroid substrate should be kept evenly moist. Elevated cultivation or a climbing support provides the increasingly elongated leaves with sufficient space.
Description and Notes: Anthurium Ecuagenera Princess combines the long, velvety leaves and elegant venation of Anthurium warocqueanum with the darker, more contrasting foliage of the parent plant identified as Anthurium besseae cf. Leaf length, width, orientation, and venation intensity may vary among seedlings.
