Description

Philodendron barrosoanum 'No. 5'

Name: Philodendron barrosoanum ‘No. 5’

Location/growing conditions: We grow this selection in warm to intermediate conditions at around 19–28 °C, with high humidity and bright, indirect light. We keep the coarse, airy aroid substrate evenly lightly moist, but avoid waterlogging.

Description and notes: ‘No. 5’ is a selected cultivar of Philodendron barrosoanum. The plant develops large, distinctly lobed leaves as it ages and, as a climbing philodendron, requires a sturdy support. Good air circulation and even warmth promote vigorous growth.
