Name: Philodendron Paraiso Verde 'Variegata'
Description & Notes: A striking philodendron cultivar with elongated foliage and variable markings ranging from light green to creamy green. The variegation can differ noticeably from leaf to leaf. The plant has a climbing growth habit and benefits from a sturdy support, which helps it develop larger, stronger leaves.
Light: Bright, indirect light. Plenty of light supports the characteristic leaf markings, but avoid intense direct midday sun.
Temperature: Warm, ideally around 22–28 °C. Consistent warmth supports growth and leaf markings; avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures below about 18 °C.
Water & Humidity: Keep the substrate evenly and slightly moist, allowing the top layer to dry out a little between waterings. Avoid waterlogging. Humidity of around 60–80% is beneficial; ensure good air circulation at the same time.
Substrate: A loose, coarse, very airy aroid mix made from bark, coco chips or coir, and mineral components such as perlite or pumice. Good drainage is important.
