Description

Philodendron Monkey Tail

Name: Philodendron Monkey Tail

Parents: Philodendron fibrosum × Philodendron verrucosum

Cultivation: Hybrid by Ecuagenera.

Location/Growing Conditions: We grow the hybrid in intermediate to warm conditions at around 18–27 °C, with high humidity, good air circulation, and bright, indirect light. A climbing support and coarse, airy aroid substrate promote vigorous growth.

Description and Notes: Philodendron Monkey Tail combines the striking hairiness of petioles and stems found in Philodendron fibrosum with the velvety, boldly patterned foliage of Philodendron verrucosum. The hybrid is a compact climber and can vary in leaf color and hairiness.
