Description

Philodendron Morning Sun

Name: Philodendron Morning Sun

Parents: Philodendron gloriosum × Philodendron asplundii

Location/Cultivation requirements: We cultivate Philodendron Morning Sun in warm to intermediate conditions at approximately 19–28 °C, with high humidity and bright, indirect light. We keep the coarse, airy aroid substrate consistently slightly moist.

Description and notes: This Ecuagenera hybrid combines the velvety leaf texture and bright venation of Philodendron gloriosum with the influence of Philodendron asplundii. The plant grows in a compact to creeping habit and develops elongated, decoratively veined leaves. Wider pots provide the creeping stem with sufficient space.
