Description

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Gualaquiza

Name: Rhyncholaeliocattleya Gualaquiza

Etymology: Rhyncholaeliocattleya refers to a hybrid group within the Cattleya alliance. “Gualaquiza” is the breeder’s grex name.

Origin / Breeding: A cross between Cattleya Fire Magic and Rhyncholaeliocattleya Haw Yuan Gold.

Description & Care: A vigorous Cattleya alliance hybrid with firm leaves and robust pseudobulbs. We grow it in very bright conditions with good air circulation. Between waterings, we allow the potting medium to dry out slightly and water regularly during the growing season. We cultivate it at approximately 18–28°C.
