Description

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Ecuagenera Gold

Name: Rhyncholaeliocattleya Ecuagenera Gold

Etymology: Rhyncholaeliocattleya denotes a hybrid group of the Cattleya alliance. "Ecuagenera Gold" is a grex name given by the breeder.

Origin / Breeding: Cross of Rhyncholaeliocattleya Yasuji Takasaki × Cattleya dowiana var. aurea.

Description & Care: Fragrant Cattleya hybrid with large Cattleya blooms and vigorous, compact growth. We grow it in very bright conditions with good air circulation. We allow the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings; after the new growth has matured, we reduce watering somewhat. We cultivate it at approximately 13–22 °C.
