Origin: Venezuela, Colombia and Peru
Habitat:
Epiphyte, in moist montane forests on moss-covered branches and twigs at altitudes of 700 to 2800 meters
Notes:
Restrepia elegans 'Camila' is significantly more intensely colored than the normal Restrepia elegans.
