Name: Restrepia brachypus

Origin / Habitat: An epiphytic Restrepia from the moist montane forests of tropical America, where it grows in shaded, humid conditions.

Description & Flowering: A compact botanical miniature orchid with slender stems and characteristically marked Restrepia flowers. Established stems can bloom repeatedly and should therefore be preserved after flowering.

Light: Partial shade to bright light, without direct hot midday sun.

Temperature: Cool to moderate, approximately 14–23 °C.

Water & Humidity: Keep consistently lightly moist and avoid allowing it to dry out completely. High humidity with good air circulation is ideal.

Substrate: Fine bark with some sphagnum moss or a similarly airy, slightly moisture-retaining substrate.
