Restrepia aristulifera

Name: Restrepia aristulifera

Origin / Habitat: An epiphytic miniature orchid from the moist tropical montane forests of South America. It prefers humid, shady to partially shaded locations with constant air movement.

Description & Flowering: The compact plant produces slender shoots with single leaves and delicate, distinctly textured flowers. Like many Restrepia, it can bloom repeatedly from established shoots.

Light: Partial shade to bright light, without intense direct sun.

Temperature: Cool to moderate, approximately 14–23 °C.

Water & Humidity: Keep evenly slightly moist year-round, but avoid waterlogging. High humidity and good air movement are recommended.

Substrate: Fine, airy substrate made of small bark and sphagnum; in high humidity, a mounted culture is also possible.
