Description

Phragmipedium Wössner Supergrande

Name: Phragmipedium Wössner Supergrande

Parents: Phragmipedium longifolium × Phragmipedium humboldtii

Location/growing conditions: We grow this Phragmipedium hybrid intermediately at approximately 16–25 °C, in bright to partially shaded conditions, with high humidity and good air circulation. We keep the airy, moisture-retaining substrate evenly moist; the roots should not dry out completely.

Description and notes: Phragmipedium Wössner Supergrande combines Phragmipedium longifolium with the long-petaled Phragmipedium humboldtii. Accordingly, vigorous growth and striking flowers with elongated petals can be expected. Seedlings may vary in flower size, color, and petal length.
