Description

Phragmipedium Prof. Braem

Name: Phragm. Professor Braem
Trade name: South American lady's slipper
Parents: Phragmipedium longifolium x Phragmipedium schlimii var manzurii
Breeder: E. Teson
RHS registration: E. Teson, 20 April 2016
Notes:
A very unusual hybrid consisting of the large-growing Phragmipedium longifolium and the very small Phragmipedium schlimii var manzurii. Nothing of the Phragmipedium longifolium remains in either the growth form or the flower form and colour; Phragmipedium schlimii var manzurii has clearly inherited dominantly.
