Description

Phragmipedium Memoria Mariza Rolando

Name: Phragmipedium Memoria Mariza Rolando

Parents: Phragmipedium kovachii × Phragmipedium Hanne Popow

Registration: Grex registered with the RHS; registered in 2007 by Piping Rock Orchids, origin A. Manrique.

Location/Culture: We grow this hybrid at intermediate temperatures of approximately 16–24 °C, in bright to partial shade, with high humidity and good air circulation. We keep the airy, moisture-retentive substrate consistently moist and do not allow the roots to dry out completely.

Description and Notes: Phragmipedium Memoria Mariza Rolando combines the large flowers of Phragmipedium kovachii with Phragmipedium Hanne Popow. The plants can grow to a medium to robust size and produce several large, pink to purple flowers in succession.
