Registration: Grex registered with the RHS; registered in 2011 by A. Manrique.

Location/Growing conditions: We grow Phragmipedium Glen Decker under intermediate conditions at around 16–25 °C, with bright, filtered light, high humidity, and good air circulation. We keep the airy, moisture-retentive medium consistently slightly moist.

Description and notes: Phragmipedium Glen Decker combines the intense red to purplish-red coloring of Phragmipedium Jason Fischer with the large, broad flowers of Phragmipedium kovachii. Well-developed plants can produce particularly large, richly colored flowers.
