Name: Phragmipedium Diana Salazar

Parents: Phragmipedium klotzschianum × Phragmipedium caudatum

Registration: Grex registered with the RHS; registered on March 16, 2021, by Ecuagenera.

Location/Growing Conditions: We grow Phragmipedium Diana Salazar in intermediate conditions at around 16–25 °C, with bright filtered light, high humidity, and good air circulation. We keep the airy, moisture-retentive medium evenly moist and do not allow the roots to dry out completely.

Description and Notes: The cross combines the unusual influence of Phragmipedium klotzschianum with the long petals of Phragmipedium caudatum. The petals may show purple tones and hang down at length; form and color intensity vary among seedlings.
