Name: Masdevallia roseola

Location/Growing conditions: We grow this Masdevallia in cool to intermediate conditions at around 12–22 °C, with high to very high humidity, bright filtered light, and continuous gentle air movement. We keep the fine, airy, moisture-retentive substrate evenly slightly moist and do not let the fine roots dry out completely.

Description and notes: The name roseola refers to the rosy coloring of the flowers. This compact species is well suited to cool to intermediate growing conditions with consistent moisture and high humidity.
