Name: Lepanthes nicolasii × Lepanthes steyermarkii
Parents: Lepanthes nicolasii × Lepanthes steyermarkii
Location/growing conditions: We recommend cool to intermediate conditions at around 14–23 °C, shade to moderate light, very high humidity, and gentle, consistent air movement. The fine roots must not dry out completely. Live or high-quality sphagnum moss, as well as a very fine, airy, moisture-retaining substrate, are suitable; cultivation in a mounted setup is also possible with reliably high humidity.
Description and notes: This compact Lepanthes hybrid combines two delicate species and is particularly suitable for terrariums, display cases, and controlled greenhouse cultivation. The plants produce slender shoots with single leaves and very fine inflorescences. Flower size, color, and markings may vary among seedlings. Consistent moisture, soft water, and good air movement without drying drafts are essential.
