Name: Lepanthes Coral Butterfly ‘Xanthina’

Parents: Lepanthes ribes × Lepanthes saltatrix

Registration: RHS-registered grex; registered on March 11, 2017, by E. Cott, breeder L. Minet.

Location/growing conditions: We grow this light-colored intermediate selection at approximately 16–24°C, with very high humidity, bright filtered light, and gentle, continuous air movement. We keep the fine roots evenly moist.

Description and notes: ‘Xanthina’ is characterized by small, predominantly yellowish flowers with only a slight red tinge, as well as finely veined leaves. As a Lepanthes hybrid, it is particularly well suited for a display case with stable humidity and good air circulation.
