Description

Laeliocattleya (Susana x Speciosisima)

Name: Laeliocattleya (Susana × Speciosissima)

Etymology: Laeliocattleya refers to a historical hybrid group of Laelia and Cattleya. “Susana” and “Speciosissima” are the names of the parent plants used in breeding.

Origin / Breeding: A cultivated hybrid of Laeliocattleya Susana × Laeliocattleya Speciosissima.

Description & Care: A Cattleya alliance hybrid with robust pseudobulbs and firm leaves. We grow it in a very bright location with good air circulation. Between waterings, we allow the potting medium to dry out slightly and water regularly during the growing season. We cultivate it at approximately 18–28 °C.
