Description

Laeliocattleya Daya L. Portilla

Name: Laeliocattleya Daya L. Portilla

Location/Cultivation conditions: We cultivate this hybrid under intermediate to warm conditions at approximately 18–28 °C, in a very bright spot sheltered from intense midday sun with good air circulation. The coarse orchid substrate is watered regularly during active growth and should be allowed to dry out well afterwards.

Description and notes: Laeliocattleya Daya L. Portilla is a Cattleya hybrid with vigorous sympodial growth. In seedlings, flower color, lip markings, and shape can vary. Good light conditions promote strong pseudobulbs and reliable flowering.
