Dracula navarroorum

Name: Dracula navarroorum Luer & Hirtz

Origin/Distribution: The species is native to Ecuador.

Location/Habitat: We grow Dracula navarroorum in cool to intermediate conditions at around 12–21°C, with very high humidity, bright filtered light, and continuous gentle air movement. We keep the fine, airy, and moisture-retaining substrate evenly moist.

Description and Notes: This compact to medium-sized Dracula produces horizontal to pendulous inflorescences with distinctive terminal flowers. As with many high-montane species, we avoid prolonged heat, stagnant air, and the complete drying out of the fine roots.
