Etymology:
erythrocodon = reddish bell
Origin: Ecuador
Habitat:
epiphytic in cloud forests on mossy trees on steep slopes at altitudes of 2000 to 2500 meters
Notes:
The flowers of Dracula erythrocodon are up to 3.5cm in size; 2-4 bell-shaped flowers can hang from the upright flower stalks, some of which can even be in bloom at the same time.
