Name: Dendrobium Butterfly Jewel f. pink
Description & Notes: An attractive Dendrobium hybrid with a more compact growth habit and decorative pink flowers. It is well-suited for a bright windowsill or greenhouse and prefers a consistent supply of water and nutrients during active growth. Once the shoots have matured, the plant can be kept slightly drier.
Light: Bright to very bright with plenty of indirect light. Some mild morning or evening sun is beneficial; avoid intense midday sun.
Temperature: Temperate to warm, ideally around 18–27 °C during the day and about 15–20 °C at night.
Water & Humidity: Water thoroughly and regularly during growth, allowing the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings. After the shoots have finished growing, water more sparingly, but do not let it dry out completely for extended periods. A humidity level of about 55–75% with good air circulation is beneficial.
Substrate: Loose and airy bark-based orchid substrate with good drainage. Fine to medium-grade bark is particularly well-suited for smaller pots.
