Name: Coryhopea Ecuagenera

Parents: Coryanthes leucocorys × Stanhopea Reichenbachiana

Location/Growing conditions: We grow this hybrid in warm to intermediate conditions at around 18–27 °C, with high humidity, strong air movement, and bright, filtered light. Since the inflorescences can grow downward, a well-drained basket is particularly suitable. During active growth, we water and fertilize regularly.

Description and notes: Coryhopea Ecuagenera combines Coryanthes leucocorys with a Stanhopea hybrid. Accordingly, it can produce large, complex flowers that are often intensely fragrant. A very airy root zone and plenty of moisture during active growth promote strong pseudobulbs.
