Description

Cattleya rex x Cattleya mooreana x Cattleya fox

Name: Cattleya (Cattleya rex × Cattleya mooreana) × Cattleya Fox

Parents: (Cattleya rex × Cattleya mooreana) × Cattleya Fox

Note on the cross: The product name describes a parental combination; we do not treat it as a separate grex name.

Location/growing conditions: We grow the seedlings in intermediate to warm conditions at around 18–28 °C, in very bright light with good air circulation. Coarse, airy orchid potting mix is watered regularly during growth and allowed to dry out well afterwards.

Description and notes: Due to the involvement of Cattleya rex and Cattleya mooreana, light base colors and a highly contrasting lip are possible. As a seedling cross, color, size, and flower shape can vary significantly.
