Description

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Bomberos Cuenca

Name: Rhyncholaeliocattleya Bomberos Cuenca

Parents: Rhyncholaeliocattleya Perfect Choice ‘Noble Lady’ BM/JOGA × Rhyncholaeliocattleya Lawless Frelschutz ‘Carmela’

Location/Growing conditions: We grow this Cattleya hybrid in intermediate to warm conditions at around 18–28 °C, in very bright light with protection from intense midday sun and good air circulation. The coarse orchid substrate is watered regularly during active growth and then allowed to dry out thoroughly.

Description and notes: The seedlings can develop large, intensely colored flowers with a pronounced lip. Color, pattern, and flower shape may vary between individual plants. Strong, mature pseudobulbs and plenty of light encourage flowering.
