Name: Cattleya Patricio Almeida
Parents: Cattleya Cruella × Cattleya Maria Ozzell
Location/Growing Conditions: Grow in bright to very bright conditions with some filtered morning or evening sun. A coarse, airy bark-based potting mix, good air circulation, and temperatures around 18–28 °C are ideal. Water thoroughly during active growth, then allow the potting mix to dry out almost completely; water more sparingly in winter, without allowing the plant to dry out completely for extended periods.
Description and Notes: This Cattleya hybrid combines the large-flowered display of its parents with the vigorous, sympodial growth of its Cattleya relatives. Mature shoots can produce upright flower spikes bearing striking, broadly segmented flowers with contrasting lips. The exact coloration may vary between individual seedlings. Ample light, consistent feeding during the growing season, and well-matured new shoots are essential for reliable flowering.
