Description

Cattleya My Special Angel

Name: Cattleya My Special Angel

Parents: Cattleya luteola × Cattleya iricolor

Registration: Grex registered with the RHS; registered in 1988 by C. Pearson.

Location/Cultural Conditions: We grow this hybrid in warm to intermediate conditions at around 18–28 °C, in bright to very bright light and with good air movement. The coarse, airy orchid substrate is watered regularly and then allowed to dry thoroughly.

Description and Notes: This primary hybrid combines two yellow-flowering Cattleya species. The flowers may display delicate shades of yellow to green and a contrasting lip; they may also be fragrant. Form and color intensity vary among seedlings.
