Description

Cattleya mossiae semialba x Cattleya Sierra Blanca 'Mount Whitney

Name: Cattleya mossiae semialba × Cattleya Sierra Blanca ‘Mount Whitney’

Parents: Cattleya mossiae semialba × Cattleya Sierra Blanca ‘Mount Whitney’

Note on the cross: The product name describes the parental combination; we do not treat it as a separate grex name.

Location/growing conditions: We grow the seedlings in intermediate to warm conditions at approximately 17–27 °C, in very bright light and with good air circulation. The coarse orchid potting medium is watered regularly during growth and allowed to dry out well afterward.

Description and notes: The cross is aimed at large, light flowers with a contrasting lip. As a seedling cross, white and pink tones, lip markings, shape, and fragrance intensity may vary.
