Description

Cattleya maxima x coerulea 'Delicata'

Name: Cattleya maxima × Cattleya maxima coerulea ‘Delicata’

Parents: Cattleya maxima × Cattleya maxima coerulea ‘Delicata’

Location/Growing Conditions: Grow in very bright light, in warm to intermediate conditions, with good air movement. A coarse bark mix and fast drainage are important. Water regularly during growth; keep somewhat drier once the growths have matured. Around 18–29 °C is suitable.

Description and Notes: The product title refers to an intraspecific cross within Cattleya maxima, not a distinct grex. The influence of the coerulea selection ‘Delicata’ may produce cooler lavender to violet tones and a contrasting lip. Seedlings vary in color and form.
