Description

Cattleya maxima semialba 'Delicata' x 'Ingrid'

Name: Cattleya maxima semialba ‘Delicata’ × ‘Ingrid’

Parents: Cattleya maxima semialba ‘Delicata’ × Cattleya maxima semialba ‘Ingrid’

Location/growing conditions: Grow in a very bright, airy location in coarse, fast-draining bark. Water regularly during growth; after that, allow it to dry out significantly between waterings. Temperatures of around 18–29 °C with cooler nights are favorable.

Description and notes: This is an intraspecific cross between two semialba selections of Cattleya maxima, not its own grex. Very light sepals and petals, as well as a richly purple lip, often marked with yellow, are to be expected. Seedlings may vary in color intensity, shape, and number of flowers.
