Description

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Shunguito

Name: Rhyncholaeliocattleya Shunguito

Etymology: Rhyncholaeliocattleya refers to a hybrid group within the Cattleya alliance. "Shunguito" is the breeding grex name.

Origin / Breeding: Cross between Cattleya lueddemanniana 'Salinas' × Rhyncholaeliocattleya Chia Lin 'Shin Shu'.

Description & Care: Medium-sized Cattleya alliance hybrid with robust pseudobulbs and firm leaves. We grow it in very bright conditions with good air circulation. Between waterings, we allow the substrate to dry out slightly and water regularly during the growing season. We cultivate it at approximately 18–28 °C.
