Description

Cattleya Lucia Fernandez

Name: Cattleya Lucia Fernandez

Parents: Cattleya Cruella × Cattleya percivaliana

Registration: Grex registered with the RHS; registered in 2023 by Ecuagenera.

Location/Growing conditions: We grow the hybrid in intermediate to warm conditions at around 17–27 °C, in very bright light and with good air circulation. During growth, we water regularly; the coarse orchid mix should then be allowed to dry out thoroughly.

Description and notes: The influence of Cattleya percivaliana may be seen in a well-defined flower shape and bold lip markings. Seedlings vary in shades of pink to purple, markings, and flower size.
