Description

Cattleya Intermedia-Gigas

Name: Cattleya Intermedia-Gigas

Location/Growing Conditions: We grow this Cattleya cultivar in intermediate to warm conditions at around 17–27 °C, in very bright conditions and with good air circulation. During the growing season, we water regularly; the coarse orchid potting medium should dry out well between waterings.

Description and Notes: Cattleya Intermedia-Gigas is a cultivar derived from Cattleya intermedia and bred for vigorous growth and larger flowers. The plants produce typical pseudobulbs with firm leaves. Once the shoots have matured, we slightly reduce watering and fertilization.
