Name: Cattleya intermedia f. semialba coerulea

Origin/Distribution: Cattleya intermedia originates from southeastern South America, particularly from Brazil and adjacent regions.

Location/Habitat: We cultivate the plant in intermediate to warm conditions at about 17–27 °C, in a very bright location with good air circulation. The coarse orchid substrate is watered regularly during growth and should be allowed to dry out well between waterings.

Description and Notes: This cultivar combines the light semialba base coloration with cooler coerulea tones on the lip. Cattleya intermedia produces slender pseudobulbs and usually several elegant flowers per shoot. After the shoots have matured, we reduce water and fertilizer slightly.
